Ever since I was a little girl, I was attracted to interior design.  My parents, thankfully, let me exercise my creativity in our house as a kid and I’ve been designing ever since.  I spent the last 16 years in commercial real estate in the Washington, DC area.  During that time, I had a rewarding career, married my husband, had 2 little ones, and have had the privilege of owning and selling several homes.  With each house we've lived in, I’ve been able to scratch my creative itch room by room, however I’ve always longed to do more.   Enter Kristen Scharer Interiors.
